President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner began the week in her official residence in Olivos, where she met with government officials ahead of a rally planned for tomorrow at Government House.
The head of state received a visit from Economy minister Axel Kicillof during the day, as well as meeting with Presidential secretary Eduardo De Pedro and Legal and Technical secretary Carlos Zannini.
According to official information, CFK met with each of the officials separately, although the content of the day’s conversations was not made public. The briefings mark a return to official duties following a remembrance ceremony for the Malvinas war in Ushuaia, and having spent the Easter holiday at her home in Santa Cruz province.
Cristina is scheduled to lead a rally at Government House at around midday tomorrow, which may be transmitted via national broadcast. The president will host a series of video conferences with different parts of the country, with the reason for the rally still to be announced.
