Model Florencia Cocucci, who according to initial media reports had a romantic relationship with late AMIA prosecutor Alberto Nisman, gave testimony before Prosecutor Viviana Fein and rejected those claims saying that they were only acquaintances.
After a 40-minutes testimony, Cocucci’s lawyer, Jorge González Novillo, said to reporters outside of the Prosecution Office that his client declared that they were only acquaintances with Nisman and that she had never been to his apartment. “She knew that he was a prosecutor but that’s all,” González Novillo added.
He explained that Nisman and Cocucci met in Cancún after the model mentioned to him that she had to travel there for a photoshoot.
The Prosecution will hear testimony from an employee from the AMIA special unit led by the late prosecutor, 26-year-old Yamila De Priete, who worked as Nisman’s secretary.
