Maximiliano Rusconi, the lawyer of Diego Lagomarsino, the only person charged in the case of AMIA special prosecutor Alberto Nisman’s death, complained about the interrogation of ex spymaster “Jaime” Stiuso by prosecutor Viviana Fein. “It was poor. There was much more to ask him,” he said.
“He did not say anything interesting,” Rusconi said about Stiuso’s statement. “He was an important subject and he went unnoticed,” the lawyer said in an interview with La Red radio station.
Rusconi said he felt “insulted as a professional” because prosecutor Fein did not ask him to join her in the interrogation. “There was so much more to ask him. I don’t know if we will get him to give testimony again. It is important not to miss out on investigative opportunities like this one,” he stressed.
He went on to insist on the homicide hypothesis for Nisman’s death, saying it is the “most encompassing hypothesis.”
