Renewal Front’s leader Sergio Massa said that the demonstration to honour late AMIA prosecutor Alberto Nisman was a “sign of hope” of the end of “impunity” in the country.
“It was a categorical sign of hope from society. Yesterday Argentina drew another line at the idea of impunity, at the idea of militant justice, at the resignation to live with death and pain,” Massa said.
The presidential hopeful said that society is demanding opposition leaders for “strength to solve problems and to support those prosecutors and judges who are willing to fight for justice and against impunity in Argentina.”
He stressed that the march was “a very positive step.”
