‘Stiusso was the commanding officer, Nisman was an employee’

Secretary General to the Presidency Aníbal Fernández highlighted once again the link between late AMIA prosecutor Alberto Nisman and former Intelligence Secretariat Operations chief Antonio “Jaime” Stiusso.

Fernández reiterated the government’s allegations that Stiusso was behind Nisman’s complaint against President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and other government officials for allegedly covering up Iran’s involvement in the 1994 AMIA Jewish centre bombing. “I know for a fact that Stiusso was the commanding officer and Nisman was an employee,” he stated.

“I am certain that he (Stiusso) was the one to write the complaint against the president,” Fernández said in an interview with Vorterix radio. When asked if Stiusso had anything to do with Nisman’s death, the official said he had no evidence of such a thing. “If I knew that, I would have denounced him,” he said.
