The informal rate of the US currency, the so called «blue» dollar, continued its downward trend and fell one cent to 13.30 pesos in underground foreign exchange houses. It has dropped 35 cents so far this week.
The US dollar closed steady at 8.675 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices. It has climbed 15 cents since the begining of the year.
The Central Bank bought u$s 40 millions, and the gap between the official dollar rate and the «blue» shrunk to 53.3%.
Meanwhile, the stock market dollar gained one cent to close at 12.54 pesos, and the blue chip swap rate dropped one cent to close at 12.32 pesos.
