The so called «blue» dollar climbed five cents to 13.15 pesos in Buenos Aires City underground foreign exchange houses, amid tight government controls.
Meanwhile, the official rate of the US currency dropped half a cent to close at 8.565 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices.
The blue-chip swap rate was down 37 cents to 11.28 pesos, while the stock exchange rate climbed six cents to 11.85 pesos.
