INDEC: November inflation at 1.1%

The National Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC) has announced that the month of November registered an inflation level of 1.1 percent, with food, clothing, transport and telecom prices showing the largest hikes.

In the first 11 months of 2014, therefore, the state data agency’s Urban Consumer Price Index reveals a total inflation rate of 22.7 percent. In November wholesale prices were up 0.9 percent, while construction costs rose 0.7 percent.
