Federal Judge Claudio Bonadío has issued an order to access the sworn declaration of the Kirchner presidential family, involving President Cristina Fernández, her son Máximo and her daughter Florencia as well as CFK’s late husband and ex head of state Néstor Kirchner.
According to information released by the news website Infobae, Metropolitan Police officers arrived this morning at the AFIP headquarters to present the request by judge Bonadío who also demanded tax documentation on construction business leader Lázaro Báez – tycoon Báez has closed ties with the Kirchner family and the judge would likely investigate links between the Hotesur company owned by President Cristina Fernández and Báez’s own businesses.
Last week, Bonadío ordered a raid at the Hotesur company offices to investigate alleged irregularities in the firm.
Yesterday, ruling Victory Front party senator Marcelo Fuentes filed a criminal complaint accusing the magistrate of embezzlement, money laundering and abuse of power.
