‘I only met with judge Bonadío three times in my life’

Renewal Front’s leader Sergio Massa rejected the accusations that linked him to federal judge Claudio Bonadío, currently under fire for launching a raid at Hotesur company owned by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
“I met with the judge only three times in my life. And I am saying this in order to respond to politically-aimed malicious comments,” Massa said, referring to remarks made by ANSES social security agency head Diego Bossio and Justice Secretary Julián Álvarez who suggested that the magistrate had close ties to Massa’s party.
Bossio has called for “an investigation on the relationship between Bonadío and Sergio Massa,” while Álvarez has accused the judge of being “politically connected with Massism” and an active “militant for the Renewal Front.”
Massa said that the comments were “mistaken” and he urged for a prompt solution to the judicial case. He called for a “clarification of the situation” and urged the government not to “politize” it.
“We need to learn to differentiate institutional matters from political ones,” he stated.
