Cabinet chief Jorge Capitanich reiterated his accusations against the Judiciary for “active coup-mongering” following the recent judicial raids at the Hotesur company owned by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
“The Judiciary is a corporation that colludes with corporative groups and political opposition executing a deliberate strategy,” the chief of ministers said in his daily press briefing at the government house. “It is a strategy of active coup-mongering,” he stressed.
“The opposition acts collusively with the Judicial Power to attack the government with false accusations that make no sense,” Capitanich stated.
The official slammed Federal Judge Claudio Bonadío, who leads the criminal investigation involving the president’s company. “Why isn’t judge Bonadío authorizing raids in the over 40 commercial companies investigated by the DGI tax collection agency,” he asked suggestively.
