Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich said that the bill submitted by Victory Front’s senators Aníbal Fernández and Miguel Pichetto to bring forward the entry into force of the Civil and Commercial Code “responds to a popular demand.”
The official said that many Argentineans do not feel the need to wait until January 2016 for the Code – which rules for everyday life in the country -, to come into effect.
“We respect this initiative pushed by two Victory Front senators and we believe it responds to a popular demand,” Capitanich said in his daily press conference at the government house.
