Three members of Boca Juniors’ «12» hooligan group, including alleged leader Mauro Martín, have been cleared of involvement in the murder of Ernesto Cirino, who was killed in the City neighbourhood of Liniers in 2011.
The judgement was handed down by the 24th Criminal Court and absolves Martín, his brother-in-law Gustavo Petrinelli and Maximiliano Mazzaro of the charges.
All three defendents had been held on remand prior to the trial, standing accused of the murder of Cirino following a neighbourhood dispute with Petrinelli on August 29 2011.
