The informal rate was five cents lower at 14.65 pesos today, trading at its lowest level in three weeks, after falling 25 cents yesterday, on fears of further controls by the government. The “blue” dollar has plunged 69 cents this week.
Meanwhile, the US dollar rose a cent to 8.48 pesos today in Buenos Aires city banks and foreign exchange offices.
The blue-chip swap rate fell a massive 50 cents to 13.77 pesos, while the stock exchange rate fell to 13.76 pesos, seven cents down in today’s trading.
