UCR Party head Ernesto Sanz said the federal government should be “cautious” seeking to minimize the cost of the adverse US Court ruling over vulture funds dispute for Argentineans.
“After the US Court ruling the government should, as usual with such sensitive issues, act with extreme responsibility and caution, thinking about what’s best for the country’s future,” Sanz said.
“The government must bring this pending issue to an end with the lowest possible cost for Argentineans in terms of investments, jobs, and grow perspectives,” he added.
The US Supreme Court rejected today Argentina appeal over its bid to avoid paying $1.33 billion to hedge fund creditors, leaving intact lower court rulings that ordered the government to pay.
