Woman found dead in rubbish dump

The body of a woman was recovered today in the CEAMSE landfill site located in the Buenos Aires province locality of José León Suárez, the same place where 17-year-old Ángeles Rawson was found dead last year.
CEAMSE workers discovered the corpse today at around 10.45 am. According to police sources, the victim is a native of Chaco province who had disappeared on May 16 in the City of Buenos Aires neighbourhood Balvanera.
Federal Police spokespersons identified the body as that of Paula Adriana Giménez, 31, who suffered from schizophrenia and delusional behaviour, and who had been seen for the last time between May 1-16, when she left her lodging in a hotel located on Jujuy avenue to buy cigarettes.
The finding was made where employees “classify the waste that comes from the CEAMSE facility of Colegiales,” The chief of the San Martín police station Superintendent Miguel Ángel Maccario told reporters.
With the UFI judicial office of Lomas de Zamora in charge of investigating the case, today’s news bring back memories of the Ángeles Rawson case involving the murder of a 17-year-old almost a year ago.
Ángeles went missing on June 10 2013 while heading back from school to her home in the City neighbourhood of Palermo. Her body was found one day later in the CEAMSE facility of José León Suárez.
The caretaker of the building where Ángeles lived with her family, Jorge Mangeri, has been detained for the crime.
