De la Sota does not rule out presidential bid

Cordoba province governor José Manuel De la Sota confirmed once again his presidential aspirations and dismissed an alliance with Sergio Massa as his Vice Presidential candidate. “If no other candidate proposes the type of project that I want for the country, I will run [in 2015 elections],” he said.

In an interview with 10 Radio, De la Sota made clear that he is not a candidate at the moment, though, and rejected the idea of a vice-presidential ticket with Renewal Front leader Sergio Massa. “I am not running for office but if I was, I would run again for governor, but I have decided that there is prepared people within my party to continue with government,” he said.

De la Sota also praised his provincial administration: “Having a 59% approval rating in a third term in office is not easy. We try to do things right”.
