Randazzo calls UTA for ‘logic and common sense’

Transport and Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo called UTA Transport Union leaders for “logic and common sense” after the announcement of a 24-hour short, medium and long distance bus strike for next Wednesday.

In a press conference at the Government House, Randazzo asked UTA “not to take a decision of this sort, perjudicial to all” and praised the government’s “unprecedent effort” to improve public transport.

“Public transport is inclusion, income distribution and it is for the poor,” the Minister said.
