Part of a manual of operations to attack the federal government and create distrust among society was how Jorge Capitanich described media versions that alleged to his resignation as chief of staff of the Cristina Fernández de Kirchner administration.
“There is a permanent agenda of operations by the opposition to create distrust among society. (Media) groups are interesting in destroying the government and the country because this is the only government that has tenaciously opposed to their interests,” the cabinet chief affirmed while addressing reporters at the Casa Rosada presidential palace this morning, targeting mainly the Clarín media group that resisted the Kirchnerism-sponsored anti-monopoly law that aimed at “democratizing” people’s access to information and limited Clarín’s broadcast licenses.
Following yesterday’s versions that reported Capitanich’s “imminent resignation,” the head of ministers urged the opposition “to not become instruments or idiots” serving media groups’ interests.
