The US dollar closed unchanged today at 8.01 pesos in banks and foreign exchange offices as the Central Bank continues to intervene in the wholesale market on a daily basis.
The so called “blue” dollar which trades in the informal market was selling 10 cents down at 10.60 pesos amid lower demand, thus, reducing the gap between the informal and the official dollar to 33 percent.
