Opposition labor union representatives Hugo Moyano (CGT Azopardo) and Luis Barrionuevo (CGT Azul y Blanca) announced today that they will hold a 24-hour strike on April 10 in demand of wage increases.
The strike will include public transportation workers, government employees and truck drivers, although no public demonstrations or acts will be arranged.
Earlier today, head of opposition CTA Pablo Micheli promised to join the strike together with the Left Front and Workers Party, and said the measure will be “overwhelming”, while he explained the strike “is not against the Government, but in favor of workers”.
