Capitanich says prices soothed in February and March

In his daily press conference at the Government House, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich said “price levels have stabilized” during February’s last two weeks and so far March, which is generating a “predictable setting for salary negotiations to be compatible with reasonableness.”
«We observed the behaviour of prices has been positive,” Capitanich told reporters adding “the foreign exchange stability, the monetary policy stimulus and the tax collection perspectives amid a horizon of harvest increase, foreign currency inflow, and the achievement of goals regarding the international economic agenda, have created a stability in price levels which is very good for the decision- making process.”
He underlined the Paris Club formal invitation to begin debt negotiations on May 26: “It is an invitation, not a citation, as there is equity between the parts,” he said.
