Gov’t says January’s fiscal result ‘positive’

Capitanich

Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich today said January’s «primary and financial fiscal result is positive” and it will be unveiled this week.
In his daily press briefing at the Government House, Capitanich informed that the 2013 fiscal deficit reached 22,429 billion pesos. He added during the last seven years, Argentina has registered consecutive positive primary fiscal surplus. “Only the last two were negative,” he said.
«The opposition is trying to diminish the country’s fiscal behaviour,” he stressed.
