‘Argentina has all chances to keep on growing,’ Scioli

ScioliBuenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli stated that “Argentina is moving towards the normalization of pending issues” as he praised the government’s economic “decisions” that led to a drop in the US dollar exchange rate.

“There have been decisions made by the Central Bank along with the Economy Ministry that have created not only stability but also a fall in the dollar that will allow exporters to clear out their grains amid a record harvest,” Scioli told reporters at a local radio station.

“Argentina is moving towards the normalization of pending issues, such is the case of negotiations at a international level and situations that could not be settled before because the priority has been the social (agenda), domestic consumption and the country’s economic and financial stability to pay debt,” the governor of Argentina’s most populated province insisted.

“A country that has a 7-percent unemployment rate, the level of reserves it has, the lowest level of indebtedness in the world… We must trust in the country. The country has all the chances to keep on growing,” he considered and added the Cristina Fernández de Kirchner administration has no plans to “cool down the economy” and carry out “adjustments” but to “increase supply.”
