President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner yesterday underwent medical checks at the Austral Hospital after which she was ordered a physiotherapy treatment as well as regular monitoring to control her health evolution.
“Cristina Fernández de Kirchner underwent yesterday diagnose Studies with the Orthopedic Team of the Austral Univeristy Hospital” due to lower back pains, two statements released today by the hospital stated.
A second medical report signed by doctors Carlos Autorino, Ruy Lloyd and Federico Burgo, explained that X-ray studies have revealed a «trochanteric bursitis», which is a painful hip syndrome.
Last year, the Argentine President underwent surgery to remove a blood clot on her brain.
