Unen President Fernando ‘Pino’ Solanas considered that “this was the worst summer since December 2001,» during an interview with Radio Rivadavia.
In that sense, Solanas estimated that the country is heading to “losing its self supply of energy,” and warned over the effects that the recent rises in the gasoline prices could implied.
“When you increase the price of gasoline, the rest of the things like the transport rises as well”, Solanas argued.
In addition, he explained that “If you do not invest in infrastructure, and governments do not demand investments from the private companies, you reach nothing.”
However, Solanas express that the situation could change “within five or ten years.”
