US dollar climbs four cents to 6.60 pesos, ‘blue’ closes with new record at 10.47 pesos

dolarAfter a steady open today, the US dollar closed four cents to 6.55 pesos for buyers and 6.60 pesos for sellers at BA City banks and exchange offices. In 2013, the peso currency hit a 32-percent-devaluation.

Meanwhile, the so called “blue” dollar reached a new record, and was traded 17 cents higher at 10.42 pesos (buying price) and 10.47 pesos (selling price). On Thursday last week, greenbacks saw a 17-cent-hike in the informal market.
