The Federal Chamber confirmed that Carlos Telleldín, the person believed to be responsible for delivering the van which hit the Jewish community building in 1994, will have to face the courts once again.
According to Noticias Argentinas news agency, judicial sources revealed that the magistrates considered the felony as a crime against humanity, and therefore inalienable.
A previous resolution by Argentina’s Supreme Court revoked an earlier ruling which absolved Telledín from any participation in the attack.
In consequence, two members of that chamber, Jorge Ballestero and Eduardo Falah considered that the highest tribunal “ordered the implementation of the ruling,” which marked Telledín’s destiny, rejecting the arguments of his defence.
The defendant is accused of being the last person who had the van that crushed into the Jewish community building on July 18, 1994, causing the death of 85 people and over 300 injured.
