An alert was issued this morning by the national weather service as “strong and severe storms” with possible hail were heading for Buenos Aires and the country’s Central and Northern areas.
The provinces which might be affected are Córdoba, Entre Ríos, North East of La Pampa, San Luis, Santa Fe, South of Santiago del Estero, and the cities of La Plata and Buenos Aires.
Between this afternoon and tomorrow morning storms are expected to intensify to reach severe intensities, with strong winds and hail, according to a statement.
