Finance Secretary Adrián Cosentino has confirmed that Argentina would use every option open to them to take on the vulture funds in the ongoing New York trial, after seeing their request to take the case before the US Supreme Court declined.
The maximum legal entity in the US today rejected «for the current time» the prospect of intervening in the appeal that Argentina presented against the New York courts, who ruled the payment of 1.37bn dollars to holdout creditors.
But Cosentino was defiant as he affirmed that the Supreme Court’s decision would not stop the Argentine fight.
«As we have stated on many occasions, Argentina will continue to exercise its defence in the legal process with every resource available,» the politician reiterated in a press release.
