MP Juliana Di Tullio renewed kirchnerite criticism of rival Sergio Massa ahead of October’s elections. “(Massa) comes to Congress to revive the A group” composed by opposition sectors following the government’s defeat in the 2009 midterms. They have already failed, Di Tullio warned.
“They want to take us to the same scenario of 2009 and have no new proposal because they are not the future but the past that has already failed,” the head of the Kirchnerite caucus at the Lower House said and questioned the anti-inflation plan launched by Tigre Mayor and candidate Sergio Massa earlier this week.
“It is a copy of another initiative presented by the A Group”, Di Tullio affirmed –the so called A Groups refers to the majority parliamentary group led by the opposition after the 2009 legislative elections when the Kirchner rule faced a 128-day protest by the farming sector over export taxes.
Campaign team of Massa –cabinet chied during the first administration of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner-, announced on Monday three bills to tackle what the head of the Renewal Front called “the other form on insecurity.»
Considering inflation a “rope around the neck of workers and pensioners,” Massa’s party will submit three projects to Congress, one of them aiming at reforming the INDEC statistics bureau and turning it into an «autonomous» institution with its members being elected through admission exams.
