BAHÍA BLANCA — Boca Juniors suffered a surprising 3-0 defeat against Olimpo yesterday at the Roberto Carminatti stadium in Bahía Blanca and continued with its irregular season in the tournament.
Martín Pérez Guedes scored in the seventh minute to put the host ahead and Agustín Vuletich doubled the difference in the 69th. Former Racing midfielder Pérez Guedes netted his second of the match with a header in the 81st to give Walter Perazzo’s team its first match of the season since its promotion from the National B Division.
Carlos Bianchi’s team won three and lost three after six rounds, while Olimpo continued at the bottom of the relegation zone standings despite yesterday’s victory.
