Buenos Aires governor Daniel Scioli has responded to Renewal Front leader Sergio Massa, stating that for the last six years he has worked alongside Cristina Kirchner’s government «because it is the best choice for those in Buenos Aires.»
«I chose, I choose and I will keep choosing the best for Argentina and the province of Buenos Aires. Six years ago I chose to work with the national government because it is the best option for the people of Buenos Aires. That is what choosing is about for me,» Scioli fired, as he visited the city of Lomas de Zamora alongside Victory Front candidate Martín Insaurralde.
The provincial head spoke out after Massa referred ironically about him after triumphing in Sunday’s primary elections.
The Tigre mayor made a disparaging reference to the Victory Front slogan «You have to choose in life,» implying that the weekend’s results showed that the people of Buenos Aires province had made their choice against Scioli and president Kirchner.
