The US dollar was one-cent higher today at banks and exchanges offices at 5.545 pesos for buyers. The greenback reaches a 12.4 percent climb during the year.
Meanwhile, the so called “blue” dollar that trades in the parallel market yesterday rose four cents in some outlets, reaching 8.60 pesos.
Due to the ongoing restrictions in unofficial trading, however, prices were inconsistent across Buenos Aires with various cases of buyers being charged up to 8.90 pesos for the currency.
