Buenos Aires governor Daniel Scioli has praised the commitment to «social justice» that he affirms has taken place in Argentina under the stewardship of president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, as he appeared once more alongside Kirchnerite midterm candidate Martín Insaurralde on the campaign trail.
Scioli and the Lomas de Zamora mayor spoke on Monday to residents of the conurbation neighbourhoods San Martín San Miguel and Malvinas Argentinas. During the chat, the governor assured that Kirchner’s government was on the right track.
«Argentina has found, after so many alternatives and frustrations, a path towards social justice, bringing forward and bringing up to date the greatest moments of Peron and Evita. That is why we cannot throw [this project] out of the window,» the Buenos Aires chief asserted.
Scioli also highlighted the «teamwork» present within the Victory Front, and also praised the participation of young people in politics: «they identify with the space that Néstor Kirchner in his time and now Cristina have given them.»
