«The Metrobus is and will be the transport system of the future,» Buenos Aires City Mayor Mauricio Macri said when he officially inaugurated the Metrobus line today on 9 de Julio Avenue.
Joined by several officials from his cabinet, Macri suggested this system should also be implemented in the province of Buenos Aires.
The Metrobus, which according to the City government was built to reduce the time of travel by 50 percent and to benefit around 200 thousand commuters, will have eleven lines which must still change their current routes.
