The US dollar was one cent higher today at banks and exchange offices at 5.38 (buying price) and 5.44 (selling price) after it rose last week.
The «blue» dollar rate which trades in the informal market also experienced a spike in price, rising 23 cents to 8.58 pesos pushed by a higher demand due to the beginning of the winter holidays in Buenos Aires.
