Residents in the building where murdered 16-year-old Ángeles Rawson used to live testified after midnight and further incriminate superintendent Jorge Mangeri, so far the only suspect in the case.
Some of the residents, testifying as witnesses in the case, stated that on the day of Ángeles’ disappearance, Mangeri asked them to take out the trash two hours earlier than usual.
One of the accused said that on the day of Ángeles’ disappearance she ran into the suspect on the building’s terrace and he was acting “strange.” Mangeri then buzzed all the neighbours and asked them to take out the trash at 5 pm.
The building’s residents were picked up by the metropolitan police after midnight after new evidence cam to light. Although unconfirmed by official sources, the new evidence presented involves a strong argument between two members of Ángeles’ family.
