Autopsy revealed that 16-year old Ángeles Rawson, who was found death in a CEAMSE waste sanitation center yesterday, was strangled to death. Her family waits now for her body to be released from the morgue so that they can proceed with the memorial service.
Ángeles went missing on Monday around 10 am after attending a school gym class in the neighbourhood of Colegiales in Buenos Aires City. CEAMSE workers found her body in a bag –her limbs tied up and head covered with a noose around the neck-, at around 11.30 am at the facility located in the José León Suárez district, in the Greater Buenos Aires City.
Although first versions alleged the adolescent could have been sexually abused, the autopsy has not yet confirmed she has been raped with medical authorities waiting for further tests.
