Police looks into strange tweet predicting Ángeles Rawson’s death

1Only a couple of hours before the police identified the body of Ángeles Rawson, an unidentified person twitted from a now inactive Twitter account predicting that she was the one found dead in José León Suárez.

The account was deactivated moments later, and now only an error message comes up when trying to access it: “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!”.

As result of that, the user’s true identity is now being investigated by the police.

Ángeles went missing on Monday around 10 am after attending a school gym class in the neighborhood of Colegiales in Buenos Aires City. CEAMSE workers found her body in a bag –her limbs tied up and head covered with a noose around the neck-, at around 11.30 am at the facility located in the José León Suárez district, in the Greater Buenos Aires City.

Although first versions alleged the adolescent could have been sexually abused, the autopsy has confirmed she has not been raped, however, they revealed Ángeles Rawson was strangled to death.
