Argentina and Ecuador tied 1-1 in a match for the World Cup qualifiers. Agüero’s penalty scored his first goal in the beginning and Castillo’s payback came in the last 15 minutes of the first half. No goals were scored in the second half.
Currently the Argentine team is leading in the South American qualifiers with 26 points, followed by Colombia and Ecuador. Next match is to be played with Paraguay on September 10.
