The body of 16-year-old Angeles Rawson, who had gone missing yesterday in the Colegiales neighbourhood, was found in the CEAMSE landfill, in the Buenos Aires province location of José León Suárez, her family confirmed.
Initial forensic reports indicate she was raped and strangled.
“I ‘m going to eat and I will be right back”, said Ángeles Rawson to her friends, right before she disappeared yesterday morning.
Her stepfather Sergio stated: “she always took the same rote. We lost track of her around Dorrego and Costa Rica”.
The body of 16-year-old Rawson was found with a bag on her head and a rope tied up around her neck after 11:30 am in one of the CEAMSE landfills located in José León Suárez.
Her cell phone registered a 10 minute phone call to a bank at 9:43 to a bank and at 10:59 the device was topped up with 50 pesos.
Cecilia, one of Angeles’ aunts, confirmed the death of her niece to the press.
The teenager went missing yesterday after 10 am when she was seen right next the other CEAMSE landfill located in Colegiales, on Matienzo street.
The forensic authorities were raiding the CEAMSE looking for aditional clues in order to find the suspect.
