Palestine condemns Israeli attack on Argentine diplomatic vehicle

The Palestinian National Authority condemned the attack by Israeli soldiers against a car belonging to Argentina’s embassy in the Middle East country and praised Argentine support to the Palestinian cause.

“On May 15, the vehicle of the Argentine embassy to Palestine was in the Israel-controlled area of Calandria and it was shot by an Israeli soldier although the Palestinian driver using a megaphone requested access given it was a diplomatic Vehicle,” Palestine’s embassy in Buenos Aires officially informed.
Despite the driver’s warning, Tel Aviv’s military shot at the car’s windscreen and the companion seat. “Israeli soldiers unfortunately respect no one,” the embassy added and reaffirmed the “deep relation of friendship and brotherhood between the governments of Argentina and Palestine, appreciating the position of the Argentine government over the rights of the Palestinian people to have a sovereign and independent state.”
