CGT leader Hugo Moyano.
CGT leader Hugo Moyano announced “all conditions are ready” for his organisation to take part in a national strike run by the Argentine Workers’ Central Union (CTA). However, he said they still need to choose «the best moment for it”.
Additionally, the union leader criticized the judicial reform bill drafted by the National Government, calling them «not believable» and claimed he “would also like to go to the anti-government protest on April 18″.
Moyano made these statements at the CGT’s headquarters before the board meeting, where he was planning to discuss the possibilities of joining the CTA’s national strike on May, 15.
«All initiatives run by the Government contain speculation. They already converted the Congress into a notary office and now they want to have Justice at their service,» Moyano complained, referring to the «democratisation of Justice” planned by the Government.
