Court grants definite acquittal for Lucila Frend over roommate’s murder

Lucila Frend, who was judged for the crime of her roommate Solange Grabbenheimer in 2007, was definitely acquitted by Buenos Aires province Cassation Court, judicial sources reported.
The decision rules out the petition of General Attorney Carlos Altuve to sentence the accused to life in prison.
Solange Grabenheimer was killed on January 10, 2007, at the house she shared with Frend located in the locality of Florida, Buenos Aires province. The accussed could not be found guilty as the perpetrator of the murder.
That day, Frend -according to her declarations- had left the house at 7:30am and returned at night with Solange’s boyfriend, and found the dead body of the victim.
