Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli summoned all the teachers’ unions for wage talks on Wednesday in order to present a salary hike proposal.
The government will present an offer to the unions representatives, although it was not unveiled the percentage of the hike or if it has achieved the financial help requested to the National government.
Scioli met today with his economic cabinet to analyze this and other issues of the provincial administration, sources said.
The formal summon will be announced tomorrow and they will meet on Wednesday at 5pm.
The provincial government keeps saying that the financial assistance of the Nation is key to present an offer that will solve the conflict.
Unions claim a 30 percent hike, a figure that Scioli’s government sees impossible as it means it should give 650 million pesos.
