The body of Christopher Jonathan Stramessi, who was missing since Sunday after he left a party in the Greater Buenos Aires area of Olavarría, was found today in a stream near his home.
Investigators are trying to determine whether the 17 year old was murdered, as police officers seized bloody garments that reportedly belonged to him.
Police sources said the corpse was found shortly after 6.30 pm at the Tapalqué stream, three blocks away from the Pueblo Nuevo neighbourhood police station in Olavarría.
Following the discovery of the body, family members, friends and neighbours approached the site and César Stramessi, father of the teenager, identified him. “I did not see him beaten. I simply saw half his face and that his hands were all wrinkly, after many days in the water. And I recognized his clothes,” his father told reporters.
