The aftermaths of last week’s pot-banging continue, as Civic Coalition lawmaker Elisa Carrió affirmed that «this government fights to destroy the middle class,» and also accused the national government of fascist, and Cabinet Chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina of minimizing the importance of Thursday’s demonstration.
The lawmaker stated during an interview that «no one at the march had gold Rolex with diamonds, no one had a 35,000 euros Hermes, I’m sure about that.»
Besides, Carrió assured that «they said I was a ‘well raised girl,’ that we had to hate the people from our class; and something like this said Abal Medina, who is extremely rich, like his father, who lives in Mexico and is Carlos Slim’s advisor.»
Regarding the demonstration, she analyzed that «it was a march for freedom and everybody has the right for freedom, because it’s granted by the Constitution.»
«It was a claim against no one, but to defend the emipre of the law,» added Carrió as she criticized that «there is a gubernamental elite that can do whatever they want, violate the Constitution, steal, and have the rest under control.»
