Caló still on the run for CGT bid despite health problems

Metal Workers Union head Antonio Caló ratified he intends to lead the anto-Moyano CGT and denied his health problems are an obstacle to do so, although he admitted that he suffered stress-induced exhaustion issues a few days ago.

“I am sorry this in formation was leaked. It was a comment in a dinner with friends, nothing more. I’m back on track and available for the CGT. We will keep on working as we have done thus far,” he added.

Caló dismissed rumours saying he would quit the race for the CGT Secretary General post due to a heart condition and hypertension.
