The trade surplus dropped 1.4 percent and totalled 1.024 billion dollars in June compared to the volume registered during the same month last year, according to the Indec national statistics bureau.
The exports ended at 7.121 billion dollars, dropping 17 percent, while the imports reached 6.097 billion dollars and fell 22 percent, according to the official data.
In 2011, it had reached 1.039 billion dollars.
